10/2006 (Avec d’autres artistes/group show) Detourned Menu, The Lab, San Francisco
The topic of the collective show was “art + activism” and my emmediate response was to remove food AS a form of activism. Without the presence of food and with the counter-response being the accumulation of eating accoutrement the viewer is placed in this state of perplexity. The arrangement was alter-esque glorifying the importance that has been placed on the action of eating and the industry of food production and advertising.
