I haven’t the words for this. There’s just something majical for me about Nick and his seeds. When I saw them perform it was like nothing else. It was pure. Not just pure musicianship, or “rock music”, or something like that. It was purely human. It was true and nurtured and powerful. Raw. Human.
I think you can feel some of that in this song, it’s one of my favorites from Dig, Lazarus Dig. The album is very rich musically, but historically as well. I love how he creates this whole other universe with his work. Very similar to Tori Amos.
